House of Scouse Mannequin display | Central Saint Martins
Some of www.houseofscouse.co.uk menswear has been on display this week in Central Saint Martins degree show. It's been interesting seeing everyones reaction lots of people have been interacting with it and getting really interested in some of the ideas and influences behind the garments.
The laser cut and laser etched print design is based on the construction of a traditional football ( 32 panels of leather or plastic: 12 regular pentagons and 20 regular hexagons). This structure has been broken up and engineered back together against each garment. Married with typography and iconography from other references in the collection. This has been a highly versatile print story which has applications across all sports categories and product areas including eyewear, bags and accessories.
